ABOUT STOOR OF LAPPLAND

ORDER

When you complete your order, an order confirmation is sent to your email address. The confirmation contains all information about the products, price, billing and delivery address.
If there is any error in the order confirmation, you must immediately contact us by email at Patrik@stooroflappland.se.

DELIVERY

Our normal delivery times are 3-7 days. NOTE! Orders placed on weekends will be shipped at the earliest on the following Monday.
If delivery delays occur (without us notifying you of a longer delivery time), you should contact us at the email address: Patrik@stooroflappland.se.

PRICES

All prices in the store are stated in SEK and all prices include 25% VAT.
We reserve the right to make price changes caused by price changes from suppliers, printing errors in the price list, and inaccuracies in prices due to incorrect information. We also reserve the right to adjust the price.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

When purchasing goods on the website, as a customer you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal which applies from the time you have received an item you have ordered.

5.1 When using your right of withdrawal:

  • You must notify us that you regret your purchase. The message should be sent to us at Patrik@stooroflappland.se. In your message, your name, address, email address, order number, and which goods the return applies to must be clearly stated.
  • You should return the products immediately and no later than within the statutory 14 days after the withdrawal notice.
  • You bear the cost of return shipping, delivery, and the condition of the products upon return, so the products should therefore be sent well-packaged and in their original packaging.
  • We reserve the right to deduct a sum from the refund amount corresponding to the decrease in value compared to the product’s original value if the product has been used or damaged.

5.2 The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Products that are sealed (sealed) for health or hygiene reasons and where the seal (sealing) has been broken by you.
  • Products that are of the nature of sealed audio or video recordings and where the seal has been broken by you.
  • Custom-made products, which have been tailored specifically for you or have a clear personal touch according to your wishes.
  • Services that have been fully completed and where you have expressly consented to the service commencing without a right of withdrawal.
  • Goods that may rapidly deteriorate, such as food.
  • Single copies of newspapers or magazines.

COMPLAINTS AND GRIEVANCES

We inspect all products before they are shipped to you. Should the product still be damaged or incorrectly shipped when it arrives, we undertake, in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation, to remedy the fault at no cost.
You must always contact us for approval before returning a defective item.
Complaints must be sent immediately after the defect is discovered.

6.1 How do you proceed with a complaint?

  • Any errors and defects must always be reported to Patrik@stooroflappland.se where you state your name, address, email address, order number, and a description of the error.
  • If we are unable to rectify the fault or deliver a similar product, we will refund you for the defective product in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation. We pay the return shipping for approved complaints.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a complaint if it turns out that the product is not defective according to applicable consumer protection legislation. In the event of complaints, we follow the guidelines from the National Board for Consumer Disputes, see arn.se.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We take no responsibility for indirect damage that may occur due to the product.
We accept no responsibility for delays/faults due to circumstances beyond the control of the company (Force Majeure). These circumstances may, for example, be labor conflict, fire, war, authority decision, reduced or non-existent delivery from suppliers.
Furthermore, no responsibility is taken for any changes in products/product properties changed by the respective supplier and other factors beyond our control.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

We reserve the right for any typographical errors on this website as well as the final sale of products. We do not guarantee that the images reflect the product’s exact appearance since certain color differences may occur depending on the screen, photo quality, and resolution. We always strive to present the products as accurately as possible.

stooroflappland is responsible for the processing of personal data you have provided to us as a customer. Your personal data is processed by us to handle your order, and in cases where you have requested newsletters or promotional offers, to adapt the marketing to your individual needs.
Below is a summary of how we, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), store and process your data.

Personal data is any information that can be directly or indirectly attributed to a natural person.

10.2 What data do we store?
To handle your order and respond to questions related to your order (customer service), we store your first and last name, address, phone number, email address, IP address, and purchase history.
Your information is stored as long as we have a legal basis to process your data, for example, to fulfill the agreement between us or to comply with a legal obligation under, for instance, the Accounting Act.

10.3 Legal basis
In connection with a purchase, your personal data is processed to complete the agreement with you.
Marketing, promotions, and similar mailings take place after your consent.

10.4 Which data is shared and for what purpose?

10.4.1 Payment provider
When making a purchase, information is shared with our payment provider. The information stored is first name, last name, address, email address, and phone number. If you choose to pay by invoice, personal ID number will also be saved by the payment provider. The information is saved for the purpose of completing the purchase and protecting the parties against fraud.
The payment providers (payment services) we use are: Klarna, Swish.

10.4.2 Shipping company
To deliver your orders and complete our agreement, we must share specific information with the shipping company. The information shared with the shipping company is first name, last name, and address details for delivery. Email address and/or phone number may also be shared with the shipping company for notification.
The shipping company we work with is: Postnord.

10.4.3 Newsletter
If you have chosen to subscribe to our newsletter, first name, last name, and email address are shared with our newsletter provider. This is to keep you updated with information and offers for marketing purposes.

10.5 The right of access
You have the right to receive extracts of all information that we have about you. Extracts are delivered electronically in a readable format.

10.6 The right to rectification
You have the right to ask us to update incorrect information or supplement information that is incomplete.

10.7 The right to be forgotten
You can at any time request that the data relating to you be deleted. There are few exceptions to the right to deletion, for example, if it must be retained for us to fulfill a legal obligation (such as under the Accounting Act).

stooroflappland is responsible for the storage and processing of personal data in the online store and ensures that the rules are followed.

10.9 How we protect your personal data
We use industry standards like SSL/TLS and one-way hash algorithms to store, process, and communicate sensitive information such as personal data and passwords securely.
We use a Swedish platform, Quickbutik, operated by Quickbutik AB, based in Helsingborg.

CHANGES TO THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to make changes to the terms at any time. Changes to the terms will be published online on the website. The amended terms are considered accepted in connection with orders or visits to the website.

DISPUTES AND CHOICE OF LAW

In the event that a dispute cannot be resolved in agreement with the company’s customer service and the customer, you as a customer can turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes, see arn.se. For residents of an EU country other than Sweden, complaints can be submitted online via the European Commission’s platform for mediation in disputes, see http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
In the event of a dispute, we follow decisions from ARN or the corresponding dispute resolution body.
Disputes concerning the interpretation or application of these general terms and conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with Swedish law.

13. Products on the website
They are edited for better images and lighting; the products may not exactly match 100% how they look in reality.

14. Products purchased from “Last Chance”
These are discontinued products that are no longer in STOOR OF LAPPLAND’s range; there is no return right for these products.

15. Uncollected package
Uncollected packages are charged at least 350 SEK (depending on size) to cover shipping and handling costs. We will charge your payment method with the sum upon crediting, i.e., you will receive back the difference. If you regret your purchase, you must always collect it and then return it. If the sum of your order is less than 350 SEK, we will keep the entire sum and charge the rest. Uncollected packages are not covered by the right of withdrawal according to the Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act.
If we send a larger order to your home with home delivery and you are not at home to receive it, we will charge you afterwards for any fees and handling costs incurred by the delivery failure. All delivery failures and larger packages returned because you did not receive them will be charged the actual initial shipping, return shipping, and all fees incurred in the process.
