Welcome to Stoor of Lappland, founded and managed by me, Patrik Lindmark, in Kiruna. I was born and raised in a Sámi family, which has shaped my interest in Sámi design and northern Swedish interiors from an early age. A few years ago, my fascination with Sámi handicrafts began, eventually leading me to establish Stoor of Lappland.

The name Stoor of Lappland (abbreviated SOL) was inspired by my desire to honor my family and our Sámi heritage. After designing a sun wheel from reindeer antler for a pendant, I knew I wanted to incorporate our Sámi family name, “Stoor,” into the company name. The sun wheel then became the “O” in SOL, and it has since served as a key symbol for my brand.

At SOL, our vision is to use my laser engraving machine to produce home décor products that capture both a Sámi and a northern Swedish feel. I hope to create items that people can recognize, identify with, and be proud to have in their homes. My wish is for you, as customers, to help SOL grow into a recognized northern Swedish brand throughout the country.

I care deeply about the environment and reuse as much packaging material as possible. Therefore, the appearance of our packages may vary—but it’s a small step toward protecting our shared environment. I hope you’ll join me on this journey!
